Heaven fall down

I saw this amazing sunset and a took video of it while driving home one night. I was listening to Daniel Bashta's "Heaven". Although I didn't realize it at the time, it fit perfectly with the sky above me. I also thought the music was loud enough that I could sing along and the phone wouldn't pick up my voice... but it did. haha Check it out and see what you think:

Do you think God is showing off when He makes a sunset like that? Or just experiencing a burst of creative energy...*grin*

Neither, necessarily. I always think of sunset as God's way of painting His heart across the sky, as Clay Crosse says in, "If That's What It Takes".

hey! what a great sunset(and singing!) last year every morning when i took my son david to school, (he is now 7) the sunrise was breathtaking. i always told him, david, that means God loves you, He painted that just for you! david accepted Christ that year and i really believe the beautiful paintings of God had a major role in david understanding that God loves him.

Thanks for the comment on my blog!
So, are you a poet? I write some poetry too, would you consider sharing one on your blog?

Emily, Wow, what an amazing testament you are to your son! What a special bond you created.

Yes, I'm a poet and didn't know it. HA! Couldn't resist. Seriously though, yes, I used to write more prose type things, but gradually it developed into something deeper. That's not to say poetry isn't deep. I suppose I stopped writing for a bit as my heart wasn't in the right place. I needed to remember Who gave me this talent and use it for Him and Him alone.

Plus, I generally grew up and wanted to work on something else. For a period about about two years, I worked on VOTDs (verse of the days)... which, wow, was an amazing time of growth! But, they take exceedingly more time to write than a 'simple' blog post.

But yes. I do need to post more orginal works. I'll work on it. Ha!
