Jesus Paid It All

The other day at work, I started humming this tune. I wasn't sure what it was, until at some point, the chorus came flying out of my mouth. "That's it!" I said to myself. I immediately went to Google (my favorite search engine), entered in some of the words which came to mind, and found, of course, a million different things. But, I knew it was from Passion, which narrowed it down some. Finally, after some research, I found the words. I wanted to share them:

I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

Lord now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone
Can change the lepers spots
And melt the heart of stone

Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe;
My sin had left this crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

It’s washed away
All my sin
And all my shame

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
"Jesus died my soul to save,"
My lips shall still repeat

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

O praise the One who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead

We’ll praise the One who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead

These last two 'verses' are repeated over and over, with the crowd of thousands singing together. I hear it in my head each time I repeat these same words. May you be encouraged today.

This is definitely one of my favorites!

Thanks for your comment - I'm glad you would come if I taught a class! I would honestly love it; I just don't know if it is wise for me to pursue something like that right now...maybe in the future, if God chooses to bless my restlessness in such a way.

You know about that restlessness, too! (I think we have Teletubby Syndrome!) So content, yet so restless in pursuit of God. I know God puts certain things on our hearts, but His timing and ways are crucial. That's why we need to band together in prayer for each other and our brothers and sisters in Christ - so that we will complement each other in the work He sets before us.

Have a good day - and hey, thanks for putting that song into my mind this morning!!
